  • Committee believes that accelerators will remain an essential component of the program
  • First priority is the US participation in the LHC
  •  
  • Second is two fold
    • US as a world leader for R&D on the ILC
    • US bid to host the ILC
  • No timetable established, when a design is ready, the US would/could want to build it.
  • Report was favorable by the congress and the Secretary of Energy
  • The future of particle physics will have to be international
